No Sheeples Here: Patriotic “John Q. Public” Demands Obama Open Townhall Meeting With Pledge Of Allegiance
A man wearing press credentials who was taking photographs from a platform interrupted Barack Obama's townhall meeting by heckling the Democratic presidential candidate because he had not called for the audience to say the Pledge of Allegiance.When invited by Obama to lead the audience in the pledge, the unidentified man did just that. At the conclusion of the Pledge, Obama said, "We usually do an invocation and the Pledge before we start. So, I don't know what happened. I'm glad this young man reminded us. Thank you, sir, appreciate you."
The man, known only as “John Q. Public,” carried a large, professional-style telephoto lens and was among photographers and videographers on the main press platform at one end of the gymnasium at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. He was wearing what appeared to be the regular daily news media credentials customarily issued by the Obama campaign for coverage of single events. He declined to say which news organization he represented.
Asked why he had interrupted the event, the man said: "(Obama) said it was a townhall meeting" and open to the public. He was visibly upset that Obama hadn't called for the pledge himself saying, "You all learned the pledge in the first grade."
The first video presented here is from MSNBC. In the second video from YouTube.com, you see the man with Obama’s quislings trying to find out who this guy is and what media outlet he’s from. “John Q. Public” stood his ground mightily. He reminded the knee-breaker interrogating him that townhall meetings are supposed to be opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Daily Kos posted this: “When will these idiot hecklers at Obama townhalls realize that they are only doing him a favor. After getting disrupted by hecklers last week for not focusing on Black issues (even though he has repeatedly), the hecklers were at it again today. Too bad for this moron, Obama thoroughly owned his disruptive ass, and gets a favorable headline in the process.”
Getting a favorable headline is not surprising since the mainstream media is constantly propping this guy up.
