No Sheeples Here: Gone With The Wind

Gone With The Wind

Sunday, March 21, 2010

Those members of the House of Representatives who cast a vote for ObamaCare have declined to stand with the American men and women who sent them to Washington and have ultimately changed the kind of country America will be.

Gone with the wind will be the vitality of American enterprise and a free society. Gone also will be the quality and choice of American medicine. Medical care will be rationed by politics.

Political cowardice will ring in an era of big government that will dictate every aspect of our private lives and know no end.

This blog’s banner has changed to black in mourning for the loss of freedom. I considered displaying an image of the American flag in the upside down position but thought better of it.

Public Law 322, amended by the 103rd Congress on September 3, 1994 states in Title 36, U.S.C., Chapter 10, § 176: No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.

(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.

Any other display of the flag with the union side down is categorized as disrespect.

The banner above, which incorporates the flag of my beloved country, will remain in its darkened state until the bastards who brought this travesty are voted out of office or the America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 (HR 3200) is repealed.
