MUSLIM BELIEF

Muslim Belief

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes,
is a well-known leader in prison ministry. The man who
walks with God always gets to his destination. If you
have a pulse you have a purpose.
The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion
per capita in the United States , especially in the minority
races!!!
Last month I attended my annual training session
that's required for maintaining my state prison security
clearance. During the training session there was a
presentation by three speakers representing the Roman
Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each
of their beliefs.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic
Imam had to say.. The Imam gave a great presentation
of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for
questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the
Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong,
but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have
declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the
world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command
to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in
heaven.. If that's the case, can you give me the
definition of an infidel?'
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation,
he replied, 'Non-believers!'
I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this
straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded
to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a
place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of
authority and command to that of a little boy who had just
been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'
He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real
problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all
Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.. Stanley
ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to
guarantee them a place in heaven!' The Imam was speechless!
I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your
brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me!

Let me ask you a question: Would you rather
have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you
to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you
because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there
with me?'
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung
his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or
promoters of the Diversification training seminar were not
happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and
exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters
in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to
read this, but with ACLU, there is no way this will be
widely publicized, unless each of us send it on! This is
your chance to make a difference...

Moving

It has been almost a week since United Van Lines deposited our belongings that had languished in enforced storage for just over two years. Geoff and I (mostly Geoff) have labored to unpack the treasure trove of cardboard boxes first, in order to get them out of the house and decrease the chance of irritating Geoff's manly proboscis any more than is usual. We hacked and sneezed our way through dozens of these alien creatures, searching for who knows what treasure lay below, layered in mounds of paper. We would use one box to hold the paper from the others, but so much had been used, these quickly filled and were carted away to our patio for overnight storage (tomorrow is trash day in Medina, and we hope to have half of these towers removed permanently). Ginger appears to be in shock, as items tumble onto the floor, items of which she has no knowledge, and must now investigate. She of course has discovered the Thomasville loveseat, which we had hoped she would avoid as there is only room for two. Wrong on that score- up she pops with her daily treat, and snuggles in between Geoff and myself. I guess this means that she accepts the new items as tribute to her dachsietude. We are almost done with the kitchen, which of course is smaller than we had thought (but is bigger than what we had in Lakewood and ALbany- storage wise). I wish there were room for a dishwasher, but not without a complete renovation, ande money does not grow on our trees at the moment. The dining room, sans dining set, is the staging area for items yet to be cleaned and stored, as well as for boxes of books to be sorted and dusted this week. We have actually been using the microwave and the oven, and this week have had our official first home cooked meal. Our bedroom looks great- we now have chests and dresser drawers!!! (You try living out of crates for two years). The clothing that I fold miraculously disappears into these wondrous wooden creatures, and they stay folded- well, at least mine do. The living room floor is full of stuff around which we must maneuver, but I have lace curtains up!!!!

Boycotts

As readers of my FAcebook page know, Geoff and I are boycotting Coca-Cola for an anti Catholic ad that is run for Minute Maid. We are also continuing our long time boycott of PepsiCo for the comments its now CEO made comparing the United States to the middle finger of the hand.

Now, we find ourselves in the position of boycotting CVS and WalMart for their undermining of free speech, vis a vis Glenn Beck. While some people find Mr. Beck over the top and outrageous, he has still managed to uncover and report on the widespread fraud and illegal activities of ACORN and related entities, on the "czars" being used by the current administration in a blatant and unconstitutional power grab, among other such things. I guess George Soros and his pet "O" are pretty mad that someone had the nerve to bring to the public's notice, the nefarious activities of their cohorts. Now WalMart and CVS join the crowd.

IF, in this world, money talsk, then KMart and Walgreen's will be the recipients of the Bullock family largesse. The hypocrisy of these two companies is outrageous, as they never did a thing when Mr. bush was President, and called a Nazi, Hitler and worse on CNN< MSNBC, and elsewhere. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Any Questions?

The so called racism of the Right

Today, on Hot Air.com there was a link to a fascinating article concerning the racism of the progressives (liberals. To hear the MSM and the Democrats, we on the conservative/Right are dyed in the wool racists, when the historical documented truth is far more painful for the AFL, the Democrats and the so called progressives/liberals. How about calling the kettle black now? I am including the links here to these three articles, two of which I found after reading the first one

1) www.reason.com/news/show/135553.html

A History of Violence- the sordid tale of the anti-black brutality on the American Left

2) www.reason.com/news/show/36650.html

When Bigots Become Reformers- about our "progressive" friends and antecedents.

3) www.reason.com/news/show/132230.html

The AFL's Shameful Record on Race

And let us not forget what MSNBC attempted to do this week concerning the black man in Arizona who appeared outside of the "O"'s townhall, waering an AR-15 (which is NOT an automatic weapon) and a pistol. MSNBC tried to claim that the protesters who carried, in accordance with their state laws, were white racisits.

and finally, our "heroine", the architect of abortion and contraception on demand, Margaret Sanger, who was all for eugenics for the black (inferior) population

A Real Post!!!

Yesterday I saw my neurologist, who broke the news that I have arthritis in my lower back, especially the lower, and herniated discs!!! The pain in my legs will be treated separately, as I now have the chance to undergo facet nerve blocks in my lower spine. I have more pain pills (nothing narcotic) as well as prescription pads to apply for 12 hours on and 12 hours off. Maybe a TENS machine, if my insurance approves. There were no guarantees concerning the three epidurals that I had in May, and the pain returned with a vengeance in mid June, right before we returned to Albany to pack up the apartment. As I told my mom yesterday, "I have your back!!!!". (I always liked that cliche, but even more so ) For years she has told me that I am just like my dad, but now, I am like her- she has the same problems with her back. I did not inherit these problems, just the enhanced possibility of having them. Geoff and I are cognizant of the cause, 12 years ago, but the medical diagnosis this time was reassuring, since the doctor in Albany whom I sought out for the pain in my upper back and right arm/shoulder basically called me a liar. On the bright side, Dr. Allen gets to work his surgical magic on my spine again, and I get to hang out with the nurses in the outpatient surgical wing at South Pointe Hospital. Wonder if they have been to Kohl's lately? (If one must get sick in Ohio, then get thee to the Cleveland Clinic or its affiliated care centers) I get to offer up even more suffering in expiation of my sins!!! (Now to remember to do so, instead of indulging in a whingy pity party)

Today the movers came with our stuff from New Jersey!! It was like Christmas all through the house and with over 300 boxes or Rubbermaid crates to open too. A veritable treasure trove of goodies awaits. (I hope the house is big enough!!!) Geoff's "Great Train Room" is coming along as his treasures apparently were recoverable first. Wonder how big that bribe was. The two men from United were wonderful - they were on time, and took great care with our home and contents. What a great company!!! Ginger is out of it- she has no idea what these boxes contain as she only joined us in Albany. Lots of great smells for my darling dachsie>

Healthcare

I realize that I have been posting links to other bloggers on this issue, but what these bloggers have to say reflects our opinions, and with our finally closing and moving into our home, I did not want to forget what these men and women had to say. While I usually disagree with the USCCB on most of their liberal issues, Archbishop Chaput begs one to give pause with his depth of teaching and thought. He is opposed to the health care bills as presented, since abortion will be allowed. I oppose the health scare because of that issue, the fact that there are NOT 47 million Americans without insurance, but most of all, because I fear for my country if this abomination were to be enacted. Governor Palin rightly recognizes the euthanasia driven issues facing all of us, the seniors now, but all of us as we progress through time. Remember Terry Schiavo? Her murder was the bell tolling for us and most of us failed to read the significance of it. Most of us saw the judicial callous murder of a loved woman, terribly disabled, but loved and wanted. Her life had value, as all human life does, being a direct gift from God. Now the eugenics and euthanasia enthusiasts are coming out of the woodwork with their bait and switch tactics (no wonder their natural affinity is to the Democrat party)

My skin crawls whenever the big O is on tv, or I hear his voice. Maybe I am reacting to the presence of evil incarnate? For how else does one explain the butchering of my country's values, my country traditions and values, my country's actual hisotry and her accomplishments, my country's exceptionalism in being the only beacon of freedom for the world. I will go down fighting, but I will fight for my country. Will you?

Palin Responds to Dr. Death Panel: "How convenient that he disavowed his own work only after the nature of his scholarship was revealed"
Oh my. What are they going to do with Dear Sarah?
She's killing them with her honest analysis of their plan to nationalize health care.

Last night Rahmbo's brother "Dr. Death Panel" Ezekiel Emanuel attacked Sarah Palin on her death panel accusations saying the claims were "outrageous." Later in the day the Senate decided to remove the death panels from Obamacare legislation-- the same provision that Emanuel said was not included in the bill.

This morning Sarah Palin answers Zeke.
""How convenient that he disavowed his own work only after the nature of his scholarship was revealed."
Ouch!
Sarah's latest facebook posting continues to blow holes in the democrat's plan to takeover health care.
She's taking Obamacare down like a moose in the Alaskan wilderness:

I join millions of Americans in expressing appreciation for the Senate Finance Committee’s decision to remove the provision in the pending health care bill that authorizes end-of-life consultations (Section 1233 of HR 3200). It’s gratifying that the voice of the people is getting through to Congress; however, that provision was not the only disturbing detail in this legislation; it was just one of the more obvious ones.

As I noted in my statement last week, nationalized health care inevitably leads to rationing. There is simply no way to cover everyone and hold down the costs at the same time. The rationing system proposed by one of President Obama’s key health care advisors is particularly disturbing. I’m speaking of the “Complete Lives System” advocated by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the president’s chief of staff. President Obama has not yet stated any opposition to the “Complete Lives System,” a system which, if enacted, would refuse to allocate medical resources to the elderly, the infirm, and the disabled who have less economic potential. [1] Why the silence from the president on this aspect of his nationalization of health care? Does he agree with the “Complete Lives System”? If not, then why is Dr. Emanuel his policy advisor? What is he advising the president on? I just learned that Dr. Emanuel is now distancing himself from his own work and claiming that his “thinking has evolved” on the question of rationing care to benefit the strong and deny the weak. [2] How convenient that he disavowed his own work only after the nature of his scholarship was revealed to the public at large.

The president is busy assuring us that we can keep our private insurance plans, but common sense (and basic economics) tells us otherwise. The public option in the Democratic health care plan will crowd out private insurers, and that’s what it’s intended to do. A single payer health care plan has been President Obama’s agenda all along, though he is now claiming otherwise. Don’t take my word for it. Here’s what he said back in 2003:

“I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care plan.... A single payer health care plan – universal health care plan – that’s what I would like to see.” [3]...

Last year, I issued a proclamation for “Healthcare Decisions Day.” [6] The proclamation sought to increase the public’s knowledge about creating living wills and establishing powers of attorney. There was no incentive to choose one option over another. There was certainly no financial incentive for physicians to push anything. In fact, the proclamation explicitly called on medical professionals and lawyers “to volunteer their time and efforts” to provide information to the public.

Comparing the “Healthcare Decisions Day” proclamation to Section 1233 of HR 3200 is ridiculous. The two are like apples and oranges. The attempt to link the two shows how desperate the proponents of nationalized health care are to shift the debate away from the disturbing details of their bill.

There is one aspect of this bill which I have not addressed yet, but it’s a very obvious one. It’s the simple fact that we can’t afford it. But don’t take my word for it. Take the word of Doug Elmendorf, the director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. He told the Senate Budget Committee last month...

There's more.
Go Sarah!

What The Health Care Bill Actually Says | Sweetness & Light

From Gateway Pundit- Sarah Palin hits Obama on healthcare AGAIN!!!!

Sarah Palin: Obama Is Misleading the Public On Health Care
Obama is misleading the public.

Sarah Palin went after Barack Obama for misleading the public on Obamacare.
Palin says Obama is misleading the public on legislation that would lead to rationing and suffering for the poor and disabled in America.
From her Facebook page, via Free Republic:

Yesterday President Obama responded to my statement that Democratic health care proposals would lead to rationed care; that the sick, the elderly, and the disabled would suffer the most under such rationing; and that under such a system these “unproductive” members of society could face the prospect of government bureaucrats determining whether they deserve health care.

The President made light of these concerns. He said:

“Let me just be specific about some things that I’ve been hearing lately that we just need to dispose of here. The rumor that’s been circulating a lot lately is this idea that somehow the House of Representatives voted for death panels that will basically pull the plug on grandma because we’ve decided that we don’t, it’s too expensive to let her live anymore....It turns out that I guess this arose out of a provision in one of the House bills that allowed Medicare to reimburse people for consultations about end-of-life care, setting up living wills, the availability of hospice, etc. So the intention of the members of Congress was to give people more information so that they could handle issues of end-of-life care when they’re ready on their own terms. It wasn’t forcing anybody to do anything.” [1]

The provision that President Obama refers to is Section 1233 of HR 3200, entitled “Advance Care Planning Consultation.” [2] With all due respect, it’s misleading for the President to describe this section as an entirely voluntary provision that simply increases the information offered to Medicare recipients. The issue is the context in which that information is provided and the coercive effect these consultations will have in that context.

Section 1233 authorizes advanced care planning consultations for senior citizens on Medicare every five years, and more often “if there is a significant change in the health condition of the individual ... or upon admission to a skilled nursing facility, a long-term care facility... or a hospice program." [3] During those consultations, practitioners must explain “the continuum of end-of-life services and supports available, including palliative care and hospice,” and the government benefits available to pay for such services. [4]

Now put this in context. These consultations are authorized whenever a Medicare recipient’s health changes significantly or when they enter a nursing home, and they are part of a bill whose stated purpose is “to reduce the growth in health care spending.” [5] Is it any wonder that senior citizens might view such consultations as attempts to convince them to help reduce health care costs by accepting minimal end-of-life care? As Charles Lane notes in the Washington Post, Section 1233 “addresses compassionate goals in disconcerting proximity to fiscal ones.... If it’s all about alleviating suffering, emotional or physical, what’s it doing in a measure to “bend the curve” on health-care costs?” [6]

...So are these usually friendly pundits wrong? Is this all just a “rumor” to be “disposed of”, as President Obama says? Not according to Democratic New York State Senator Ruben Diaz, Chairman of the New York State Senate Aging Committee, who writes:

Section 1233 of House Resolution 3200 puts our senior citizens on a slippery slope and may diminish respect for the inherent dignity of each of their lives.... It is egregious to consider that any senior citizen ... should be placed in a situation where he or she would feel pressured to save the government money by dying a little sooner than he or she otherwise would, be required to be counseled about the supposed benefits of killing oneself, or be encouraged to sign any end of life directives that they would not otherwise sign. [9]

Of course, it’s not just this one provision that presents a problem. My original comments concerned statements made by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a health policy advisor to President Obama and the brother of the President’s chief of staff. Dr. Emanuel has written that some medical services should not be guaranteed to those “who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens....An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.” [10] Dr. Emanuel has also advocated basing medical decisions on a system which “produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated.” [11]

President Obama can try to gloss over the effects of government authorized end-of-life consultations, but the views of one of his top health care advisors are clear enough. It’s all just more evidence that the Democratic legislative proposals will lead to health care rationing, and more evidence that the top-down plans of government bureaucrats will never result in real health care reform.

More... Let Freedom Ring- "Obama’s credibility is shrinking rapidly."

A quick cut and paste from one of my favorite must read sites!!!!

Greetings from Bryan Preston, Who Thinks You Morons are Smart or Something
—Ace

Formerly of Hot Air, now a macher in the Texas GOP.

I had passed along a thought mentioned by DrewM., hoping he could pass it up the GOP food chain. It's not completely relevant, but the idea was this:

Please pass this up the foodchain. A coblogger wrote it. But maybe he's not the author of it.

Health care in the US is covered by three main systems-- Medicare,
medicaid, and private insurance.

two of these systems are bankrupt, and will be unable to make payments
beyond 2032 (insert correct date here, I don't know).

the third is solvent, and can make all of its payments for the
foreseeable future.

Barack Obama's plan is to take the one system meeting its obligations
and fold it into the two systems that are bankrupt.

etc.

Anyway, here's where you guys come in. He wrote back (and gave permission to quote him):

You know, it's been said before but your commenters may be the smartest commenters in the 'sphere. That's a sharp insight and it's so simple the media might actually run it whole, so that it gets through to the public. I do a fair amount of media hits in this job, and I'm going to work that into my repertoire. I'll also pass it around here and to the various elected shops.

He's also going to try to work in DrewM.'s point on a radio show later this afternoon:

By the way, I just found out I'll have a radio hit on a big Dallas station during the first half of the 2 pm hour (that's central time, so 3 where you are). The station is KRLD, so if you or the morons want to listen live here's the link-- http://www.krld.com/. I'll be debating some lib about ObamaCare, so the three systems insight is likely to come up. Maybe right off the top, depending on how the host tosses to me.

Once you're at the station's link you have to click on the Listen Live link, which brings up a CBS Radio player that's kind of annoying. I don't see a way to direct link the stream, unfortunately.

So, he says you may be the smartest commenters in the sphere, and he's loving DrewM.'s idea.

Hah: An Idea So Moronic It's Kind of Clever: Honestly, any excuse to dress up in Logan's Run costumes is a good one as far as I'm concerned.

Has anyone thought of wearing "Logan's Run" outfits to town halls? Complete with 'lil flashy things on their palms?

...Cuz that's "government health care" that I want to be a part of...

Regards,

Reverend Darkness

Maybe I can get Tricorner Tea Party Babe to dress up in one of Jenny Agutter's plunging-neckline diaphanous space-dresses.

She will have no idea what the hell I'm even talking about, of course.

Father Hesko on the 25th anniversary of his ordination

Our former diocese, the Diocese of Trenton, has a wonderful article about the priest who is assigned to the Parish of St. Catherine Laboure in MIddletown, New Jersey. This is the parish where Geoff and I met and were married, by this very same priest. I had started attending the EF Mass in May 2001 at another parish, and in July of that year, it was moved to St. Catherine's.. Geoff and I met the same month, and he began attending the Mass with me and we have been inseparable since!!!!. Father Hesko is a wonderful priest, and is assisted by a retired priest, Father Anthony D'Andry, who is a wonderful spiritual guide and confessor. Congratulations to Father Hesko on this glorious anniversary. (Thank you to the Remnant Newspaper for posting a link to this article- which you will need to cut and paste- sorry!!!!)
